Liverpool fans must be wondering whats wrong with their team this season. Rafa's selection had been questionable and I will not be suprise if he gets the sack. Title dream is way over before Christmas, wake up!!

Deja vu
No JP. See tonight how.. Mu gonna keep up the pace with Arsenal. Kevin Keegan's Newcastle had again lost to the gunners 3 nil in a space of 4 days. Worst, his side still yet to score a SINGLE GOAL so far. Sunderland finally climb out of drop zone to 14.

We are reading OLD NEWS
Take a look at today's copy of TNP on pg 53, Arsenal made a move for Jonathan Woodgate..
In actual fact, he had already signed on the dotted line for Spurs when the paper is being printed. Don't know why SPH decided to had noon edition only on Monday and Thursday. A boo boo step. Now Today paper is the only noon edition to have the latest news updated. Looks like readership had already fallen..

FA CUP action from Harry's @ CHIJMES.
folks folks folks, i can tell u, this non-league side Havant & dun know wat.. scares the bloody s**t outta me.. Benitez nearly shot his backside with his line-up. a host of first-teamers on the bench which includes Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard, FernandoTorres, Dirk Kuyt.
its clear that he underestimate this group of part-timers which includes cab driver, rubbish collector and teacher. i tell u man, im completely furious when H&W took the lead.. not once but twice.... goodness.. if Liverpool was playing Man United, would Benitez DARED to play such a line-up?
both goals conceded was from a corner and idiotic defending by Steve Finnan. Skrtel, being his first start for the REDS. looks nervous with his schoolboy defending. Ryan Babel, for first 15-20mins or so... keep losing possession though he found his footing after that. on the flanks together with Pennant. Javier Mascherano, think he's best at intercepting passes rather than taking rugby shots. i would hate to see him go. hope his permanent move settle quickly...
However, H&W should be given credit for taking the game against a side 6 divisions above them. it could have been more if their goalkeeper wasn't quick enough. parring away 2 shots which could have gone into his net.
watching "live" from Harry's bar, new hangout for REDS supporters. saw the notice on BPL Stomping Ground. glad to have my pretty companion accompany me to watch the game. some notable pics taken from EAST OF ANFIELD, which they named.

Kevin Keegan believes that Alan Shearer will one day become Newcastle manager.
Shearer, 37, was tipped to take over the reins at St James' Park before Keegan's return and has since been in discussions to join his backroom staff.
There remain doubts as to whether the former Magpies striker will join as number two, but Keegan insists that Shearer will eventually be in charge.
"Alan Shearer is going to manage this football club one day, that's for sure," he said.
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard says speculation over the club's ownership and the future of manager Rafa Benitez is affecting the players on the pitch.
Liverpool lie fifth in the Premier League after a 2-2 draw at home to Aston Villa and are 14 points adrift of Manchester United and Arsenal.
Gerrard said: "It's not just this week, it's been going on for some time and it's certainly not helping the players.
Tottenham assistant Gus Poyet admits the whole club are desperate to end a nine-year winless run against Arsenal in Tuesday's Carling Cup semi-final.
The tie is poised at 1-1 going into the second leg at White Hart Lane, and Poyet said: "Everyone knows we haven't beaten Arsenal for a very long time.
"We are convinced we can win and reach the final, it doesn't matter how."
But Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger warned: "They played well in the first leg, we want to pay them back and qualify."
Poyet admits the game is Spurs' biggest of the season and says the players will be right up for it in front of a packed home crowd.

another PREMIERSHIP wkend.
hey folks, back from another fantastic day at the beach. my beach soccer team beat this grp who called themselves rich bastards. yeah.. a thumping 7-0, i nick in 2 of them... yea.. rich but aimless in play... lol..
w/o further tok cok... here's my picks for this wkend EPL games.
(selected)
READING vs MANCHESTER UNITED
3/5 goals, 0-3/0-4
LS: AOS
as much i hate the red devils, they been dominating much, as i like reading to hold onto the champions. i dun see it coming with Andre Bikey, Ibrahim Sonko and Emerse Fae who are all at the African Cup of Nations. Wingers Glenn Little (achilles) and John Oster (ankle) also miss out while central defender Michael Duberry is still doubtful with a knee injury.
note that reading has the joint worst defence in the top flight.
TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS vs SUNDERLAND
LS: 4/5 goals
NEWCASTLE UNITED vs BOLTON WANDERERS
Kevin Keegan will be without a whole midfield – Nicky Butt, Alan Smith and Emre are all suspended and Joey Barton is unavailable. Keegan will also be without Geremi, Martins, Beye and Faye who are at the African Nations Cup.
Gary Megson will be looking to involve his new signings to freshen up his side after the departure of Anelka and with El Hadji Diouf being suspended.
new manager, renew hope? against a side w/o a away win all season. hmm...
home win (1.53)

Amazing United
Busy week, so no predictions last week. Anyway, league leader Arsenal dropped 2 pts against Brimingham at home. Manchester United playing late, took the chance and hammered 6 past managerless Newcastle. Ronaldo scoring his first hattrick for united.
Odd for AOS was abouut $20 odd.
Rafa Benitez had thrown in the towel, he admitted Liverpool WILL NOT WIN the title this season...

the villians no chance. $3.05 opening odds for Man United to triumph a 2 goal win is fantastic.
of tonight remaining games. Stoke City have a chance to inflict more damage to Newcastle and more pressure on BIG SAM. Luton Town, with all their troubles, would wanna make it big with a win against my beloved Liverpool. Benitez better wake up his idea to avoid a replay.

so so... close.
yeap.. yday ive small placings on Fulham & Man U game. both turn out disappointed. wif the hectic xmas new year period gone. teams wld have to contend wif?? yes.. injuries and of cos the African Nations Cup happening from 20th Jan.
FULHAM vs CHELSEA
1-2 (1-0)
first time bought H-D, odds at $18. Fulham wld wanna make impression now they have new boss on board. and thru enough they were rewarded for their efforts wif a early lead thru a Danny Murphy's penalty. but it wasn't enough as Chelsea fought back in the 2nd period thru a Kalou header and a needless challenge from a set-piece which resulted Michael Ballack to claim all 3 points for the visitors. i forgot the fact that Chelsea is not bullshit when they are lying 3rd on table. hence its a shame i did not take advantage of H-A on H/FT ticket. :(
the results;
BORO vs EVERTON
0-2
READING vs PORTSMOUTH
0-2
this was a close shave. portsmouth winless in 4 games but NEW PAPER got it all wrong.. lol... they forgot the fact that portsmouth plays better on the road than AT HOME.
MAN UNITED vs BIRMINGHAM
i bought 2-0 and die die cannot score another one. sad case.
ARSENAL vs WEST HAM
2-0
gunners maintained 2 point lead over Red Devils.
tonight,
LIVERPOOL vs WIGAN
