HELLLOOOOoo....!!!! hows things people... (if there's people reading this blog... :P)???

so... England have scheduled their 2010 summer holidays to South Africa with a crushing 5-1 win over Croatia. the latter, managed by the cocky Bilic... looked dejected after Rooney "thank you" goal and England 5th to send his team to scrap the play-off spot with Ukraine. how's things have changed since that fateful drenching night in Nov 2007. :)

England to win 2010 World Cup??? shall see... just make sure they don't hit penalties.

Cheaters!!!

Sorry for not able to post updates recently. Had a bad week at work and got back stabbed by cheater.

Anyway, back to the green field and round ball.
Arsenal progress to the group stage of the Champions League by beating Celtic in a 2 legged playoff. Leading 2 nil at Celtic Park, Arsenal won the 2nd leg 3 - 1. Eduardo dived to earn Arsenal a penalty.

He had since been charged by UEFA and is facing a two-match ban for 'deceiving the referee' after tumbling over to win a penalty.

Midweek games.

Midweek games are always tricky because the teams will be playing in the evening (1945) . The results are unexpected at times with few surprises. Wigan taking on Wolves. Wigan surprised Villa on saturday with a 2 nil victory and is expexted to bag 3 points tonight. Sunderland take on Chelsea, both teams claimed 3 points on saturday and will want to continue the winning trend.

Champions League play-off
Gunners travels to Celtic with a victory over Everton and Celtic won at Aberdeen. History had not been on English teams sides when they travel over to Scotland, I still pick the Gunner come away with a victory.

Opening day of new season

Chelsea survived the opening day of the new season with a stoppage time winner from Didier Drogba. The striker equalised after debutant Stephen Hunt gave the visitors a first-half lead at Stamford Bridge. He later admit that he was lucky and his winning goal was trying to setup a teammate, and it went into goal.

Big spender Manchester City got off to a winning start with a 2 nil win at Ewood Park. Former Arsenal striker Adebayor needed only 3 mins to open his scoring for his new club. Last season unsung hero, Stephen Ireland killed off hopes for Rovers as he scored in the closing minute.

Arsenal went to the top of the table after trashing Everton 6 - 1. They lead Everton 3 nil at halftime with goals from Denilson, new boy Vermaelen and Gallas. Fabregas added another 2 goals and Eduardo getting himself on the scoresheet. Saha score a consolation goal for the toffees.

The Kickoff

All right, the long awaited season finally come back after 2 mths plus of season break.

Will Manchester Uniter retain the trophy again??

1st game, Chelsea vs Hull City. Last season, Chelsea beat the Tigers 3-0 at the KC Stadium, but the return leg at Stamford Bridge played to a goalless draw. Carlo Ancelotti will want to start his 1st league game with a bang after Charity shield success and that gives Phil Brown leaving London empty handed. Unsporting Chelsea won the Community Shield

What was referee Chris Foy thinking when he was right in front of Patrice Evra, Wayne Rooney and Michael Ballack. Was he thinking play on when ballack fouled Evra when Rooney had the ball?

Clearly, Ballack deliberately elbow Evra when Evra passed the ball to Rooney. Was Ballack playing the ball? No, that should had been a red card to the German captain.

The Blues went on to score when clearly they can put the ball out.

Rooney levelled the score in stoppage time to put the game into penalties.

Chelsea beat United 4-1 in the shooutout.

Owen for United!!

Michael Owen has agreed terms to join Utd. He completed a series of stringent medical tests and had agreed a deal worth £50,000 a week plus huge bonuses depending on goals and appearances.

The former Liverpool, Real Madrid and Newcastle forward signed for United on a free transfer for 2 years. He became a free agent after his contract ended 1 July.

Ferguson without much option for a striker after french forward Karim Benzema chose to became a galactico.

Owen could force his way back into England boss Fabio Capello's plan who had continually snubbed him at international level. But, with top level of football play every week, Capello will have 1 more striking option with World Cup finals less than 12 months away.

Other transfer news.

Manchester City had offered a record-busting £300,000-A-WEEK to JOHN TERRY to join .

Real Mardid eyeing Ashley Cole as he rejected a new Chelsea deal.

Arsene Wenger will not stand in Emmanuel Adebayor's way if he wants to quit Arsenal.

Chelsea have sensationally sacked manager Luiz Felipe Scolari.

The club's website revealed the dramatic move had been made "to maintain a challenge for the trophies we are still competing for".

World Cup winner Scolari had only been in the job since June 2008, when he became Chelsea's third boss in a year.

Tony Adams has admitted he was surprised to have been sacked as manager of Portsmouth.

Adams, 42, left the club after winning just two of 16 Premier League games since taking over on 28 October.

He told BBC Radio Solent: "I am a little bit surprised but results haven't been good.

"I haven't had a lot of time and I certainly haven't had the financial backing. We've had a few injuries as well and that's tough to take."

He added: "I'm still up for the challenge so I've got mixed feelings."

Adams' final game in charge was Saturday's 3-2 home defeat by Liverpool, and he admitted he could not have asked for any more from his players or fans.

CHELSEA vs IPSWICH

Chelsea is without captain John Terry, who suffered a back spasm last weekend, while midfielder John Mikel Obi is suspended.

Michael Ballack should be fit and Didier Drogba has been recalled.

Ipswich defender David Wright will return from injury for the trip to Stamford Bridge, but Moritz Volz and Ivan Campo both miss out.

Ben Thatcher has recovered from illness and Pim Balkestein and Dan Harding will be hoping to keep their places.

+2.5

MAN UNITED vs TOTTENHAM

Manchester United will be without a host of first-team players, with Anderson, Nani and Jonny Evans injured as well as Park Ji-sung (hamstring).

Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs are slight doubts and Darren Fletcher will probably start at right-back.

Tottenham have Heurelho Gomes, Vedran Corluka, Ledley King, Jermaine Jenas, Jamie O'Hara, Aaron Lennon and Darren Bent all injured for the game.

Michael Dawson, Jonathan Woodgate and Luka Modric are also all doubtful.

Patrice Evra is also back after his four-match ban, so United have only Owen Hargreaves and Wes Brown missing.

Chelsea welcome back captain John Terry for the trip to Old Trafford after he served a three-match suspension.

Michael Ballack is also available after a ban and Jose Bosingwa should play despite picking up a knock,
