Arsenal striker Eduardo will return to competitive action in a reserve game against Portsmouth on 16 December.
There were fears for his career after he suffered a fractured left fibula and an open dislocation of his left ankle at Birmingham on 23 February.
But the 25-year-old Croatian's rehabilitation has gone well and Wenger said last week: "He is joining in full training matches but needs games now."
News of his return will come as a boost to Arsenal, who have beaten Chelsea and Manchester United recently but are eight points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool.
Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has hit out at claims he has demanded a massive pay rise in his contract negotiations.
Benitez's agent is holding talks with Reds owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett over a new deal to replace his current one, which has 18 months left.
"I was surprised to read that I was demanding more money. That is not true," said the Spaniard.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson admitted that Cristiano Ronaldo is a doubt for Tuesday's Champions League game at Villarreal.
United's Portuguese winger limped out of Saturday's 0-0 draw at Aston Villa with a leg injury and Ferguson fears he will not be fit for the trip to Spain.
"His leg is in a mess to be honest with you. He'll be doubtful for Tuesday I'm sure," said Ferguson.

Arsenal defender William Gallas has been stripped of his captaincy role after his public attack on the team, BBC Sport understands.
Gallas, 31, also did not travel with the squad ahead of Saturday's key game against Manchester City.
In his attack, Gallas said his team-mates were "not brave enough" and accused a player of disrupting morale.

nowadays no such thing as winning comfortably, bcos football is a 90 minute game.. its not OVER TIL THE REF BLOWS HIS FUCKING WHISTLE!!!. e Toffees 3 goals slaught in last 10 mins brought another defeat Zola's team and Moyes winning another game after disposing Fulham last week.

Robbie Keane grabbed a brace as my beloved REDS winning more than i expected, and they go top of e table.. at least for 24hrs before Chelsea plays Blackburn later today at Ewood Park.

ive a hunch Hull would not be able to recover after their double defeats to Chelsea & Man United last week. but being handed a advantage at home. i tot jus go for them to win it at all costs. but sadly it wasn't to be their evening.
BLACKBURN vs CHELSEA
Blackburn's Benni McCarthy is suspended and fellow striker Roque Santa Cruz is a major doubt with a calf tear.
Brett Emerton is also out, while Vince Grella is another doubt. Both men have hamstring injuries.
Chelsea defenders Ashley Cole (calf) and Ricardo Carvalho (hamstring) and midfielders Michael Ballack (foot) and Michael Essien (knee) are sidelined.
Brazilian midfielder Mineiro has been added to the Blues squad and could make his first Premier League start.LS: 0-2

people think hor, Arsenal recent injuries and Van Persie suspension will deeply affect e whole team morale n chances of a win over my hated Devils. but I believe e Gunners will nicked something out of this.. CHELSEA vs LIVERPOOL BERN's preview.
i remember vividly Liverpool's opening game in season 2003-04 was at home to Chelsea. weeks before the opener, Chelsea welcome new owner Roman Abramovich. with his millions... he paid off the debt and secure several signings. Claudio Ranieri was then manager... present West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola had since left the club. signings then includes Adrian Mutu, Juan Veron, Claude Makelele, Damien Duff, Scott Parker, Hernan Crespo. Arjen Robben & Pete Cech came in just before Ranieri was booted out from the club.
the score at Anfield ended 2-1 in favour of Chelsea. of cos, it was a result that hard to stomach... notably because of Chelsea new found wealth, the way they purchase players resulted an inflation of player's value once Chelsea comes knocking. Liverpool then manager Gerard Houllier was into his last year reign as REDs boss... nothing comes quite sweet when he led Liverpool to victories over Chelsea and Man United that season, away.
Liverpool win at the Bridge comes courtesy of Bruno Cheyrou, and secured a 1-0 win in the end in Jan 2004. Arsenal became the last side to win a league game on the Blue turf... edging them 2-1.
it was not until 3 years later that Liverpool once again emerged winners in the Premier League. Dirk Kuyt and Jermaine Pennant scored in a exciting 1st-half to beat them 2-0. last season both games ended draws.. 1-1 at Anfield, 0-0 at the bridge. the game at Anfield was somewhat overshadowed by referee Rob Styles. gifting a dubious penalty to the Blues.
from what ive seen last weekend.. Chelsea although missing some players in the mould of skipper Terry, midfielder Deco. the Blues still edgin out 5-0 winners over Middlesbrough. in short, Chelsea have no shortage of players that could take the place of those first-teamers. Liverpool on the other hand must really tuned up for this game. Agger miscue the ball and gifted Wigan forward Zaki the easiest of chances to scored, painfully in front of the stunning KOP.
my fellow TGL contributor, Pete and Chelsea fan David quoted that Liverpool luck might run out though they admit they seen a certain sense of determination this season. in a team where no Torres again.. will the REDs rise to the occasion to finally end Chelsea proud unbeaten home record in the Premier League? or Chelsea 5-0 win at the Riverside was no fluke... i can't wait to see these 2 teams square-off in this wkend's top-of-table clash.
Torres and Gerrard was on the bench when Liverpool last played a BIG-4 team. winning 2-1 after going behind. frankly, ill be happy wif both sides played out a DRAW. my estimated percentage for Liverpool winning is somewhere 35-40%. wif a draw at 85%.
Chelsea with home advantage, is a clear favourites for this tie. but im sure Liverpool will come off with another positive result, provided they do not go behind again!...

Chelsea duo ruled out!
England made it three wins out of three in their World Cup qualifying campaign with a fine second-half display against Kazakhstan.
After a poor first half Rio Ferdinand, captain in the absence of the injured John Terry, nodded in a corner, before Alexandr Kuchma headed into his own net.
Zhambyl Kukeyev fired one back after an Ashley Cole mistake before Wayne Rooney headed in a Wes Brown cross and then tapped in after a David Beckham free-kick.
Jermain Defoe finished off the scoring with a late, low finish.
But it was not the comfortable evening for coach Fabio Capello the scoreline suggests, and it was even less so for Cole, who was mercilessly booed by the home fans after his error.
Bern's thoughts;
i can understand e frustration of those fans watching e game. its almost e same boo-hoo as scoring a own-goal. but mistakes do happens.. if e fans think even a amateur player would not hav did such a hoo-ah... then PLEASE PUT ON E SHIRT N PLAY LA!!!
England will be without John Terry and Ashley Cole for Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against Belarus.
The England captain has failed to recover from a back injury, while his Chelsea team-mate Cole has been ruled out with a hamstring injury.
"It is disappointing to lose two very experienced players in John Terry and Ashley Cole for the game in Belarus," said England manager Fabio Capello.
Goalkeeper Robert Green is also out because of a knee injury..

BPL latest*, 8th Oct 2008.
Football Association chairman Lord Triesman believes the global credit crisis could pose a "terrible danger" to clubs dealing with spiralling debts.
Against the backdrop of such a volatile financial climate, Triesman estimates English clubs owe an estimated £3bn.
A worldwide banking crisis has led to a collapse in shares, fears of a recession and increasing costs for clubs having to repay or maintain huge debts - with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United believed to account for a third of that £3bn debt.
"The last figures I saw was that indebtedness in professional football in this country was running at about £2.5-£2.6bn, which is about where current annual revenues are in football. So our ratio is about 1:1.
"The FA themselves know about all these things because they are one of the most indebted organisations in the world. Their Wembley debt is about £350m and they have a turnover of about £300m.
"Our clubs are all heavily regulated but they've also got directors and owners who will assess the level of risk of their overall debt. This is at the top of clubs agendas and I think they are managing it responsibly.
Liverpool have been boosted by the news that defender Martin Skrtel does not need surgery on his knee injury and so could return to action by Christmas.
The 23-year-old defender needed oxygen as he left the field on a stretcher after falling awkwardly in the Reds' 3-2 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
It was feared he could face a lengthy spell out with posterior cruciate ligament damage to his right knee.
Skrtel, who was signed from Zenit St Petersburg in January, has forged a solid partnership with Jamie Carragher at the heart of Liverpool's defence.
The Slovakian has kept Daniel Agger out of the side but his injury may open the door for the Dane to return, with manager Rafael Benitez admitting: "Everyone can see that the understanding between Martin and Carra is becoming really good and to lose a player who is doing well is always a problem.
Striker Peter Crouch believes his return to the England squad has much to do with Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp's man-management skills.
Crouch was not named in the squad for England's opening two wins of the Group Six qualifying campaign, but two goals in two games has earned him a recall.
"I believe for the rest of the season he will get the best out of me and a lot in terms of my England recall is down to him."
In his final season at Liverpool, Crouch struggled to play regularly under Rafa Benitez but is confident his move to Portsmouth will help him cement his place in Fabio Capello's World Cup plans.
Hull City chairman Paul Duffen has backed boss Phil Brown to build on the Tigers' impressive start to the season.
Newly promoted City are third in the Premier League table after back-to-back wins at Arsenal and Tottenham.
Duffen, who took control of the Tigers in June 2007, feels Hull deserve more plaudits for their achievements, which included a win at Newcastle as well as at the Emirates and White Hart Lane.
Tottenham sporting director Damien Comolli says the club is united behind coach Juande Ramos, despite their worst start to a league season in 96 years.
Ramos's side lie bottom of the Premier League and pressure is mounting on the Spanish coach and Comolli.
Comolli has been criticised for Spurs' policy in the transfer market this summer, with boss Ramos admitting he is short of strikers after the departure of Robbie Keane to Liverpool and then Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United just minutes before the transfer window closed.

Champions League preview 30th Sept.
Arsenal:
Arsene Wenger has made a vow to ring in the changes for the midweek clash after the Emirates horror show against Hull. He hinted that Johan Djourou may be drafted in to add some defensive height, while Samir Nasri is back in contention.
Alex Song, Abou, Diaby, Eduardo and Tomas Rosicky are all ruled out.
FC Porto:
Lucho Gonzalez, who sat out the league win on Friday, is part of the travelling panel meaning that Ferreira has a full squad from which to choose.
1/3 goals.
Aalborg BK
Lasse Nielsen could move in to the Aalborg defence to replace the suspended Michael Jakobsen for the visit of Manchester United. Australian centre-back Michael Beauchamp is available for selection after the red card he picked up against Celtic was correctly transferred to his team-mate. Danish international right-back Kasper Bøgelund (hamstring) is a serious doubt for this game after being forced to come off at half-time during AaB’s match at the weekend.
Manchester United
midfielder Owen Hargreaves (knee) as well as his England team-mate Michael Carrick (ankle) are ruled out. Edwin Van der Sar should be between the posts once again for the European champions after his successful recovery from the knee injury he picked up against Chelsea a week ago.

BPL BERN's prediction, 27th Sept.
attended New Paper ABU-NBU telecast of game between Chelsea n Man United on Sunday. i can say Chelsea at times is vunerable and fair to say... the game is pretty even.
for tonite games... Liverpool would least leave Goodison Park wif a point. as any passionate derby game. past games results will count for nothing. as the REDS prepare for their Champions League in midweek. a draw is more likely...
elsewhere, Man United, Chelsea n Arsenal have easier ties... breaking e 1/2 goal handicap posed no problem.
Man United 2
Bolton 0
Stoke 1
Chelsea 3
Arsenal 5
Hull 0
Everton 1
Liverpool 1
Fulham n Aston Villa would pick up points in their respective games as well.

BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE PREVIEW
Chelsea vs Manchester United
The Blues' CL side was unchanged from the team which had put Manchester City to the sword so potently. Scolari, therefore, will be loathe to tinker. Continuity is possible after John Terry's Eastlands red card being successfully overturned.
Anelka, having bagged two in a week, is expected to start despite Didier Drogba slowly snaking his way towards full fitness. Michael Ballack is also pushing for a place, but may be held back from the starting line-up for another week. Michael Essien is still out.
Dimitar Berbatov has recovered in time from his recent knee injury to make the squad, while Cristiano Ronaldo is eligible for selection. Key centre-back Nemanja Vidic is suspended so either Wes Brown or Johnny Evans is available to partner Rio Ferdinand.
TAK GIU BERN's predict:
It is difficult to envisage a Chelsea defeat on their own ground, but perhaps United will treat this as their wake-up call for the season and emerge with a point... perhaps.
Chelsea 1-0.

Surep saturday
Rafael Benitez has finally break the duck by recording his first and only win after his team beat Manchester United 2-1. Carlos Tevez put United ahead after Berbatov crossed the ball from the bye line in the 3rd min.
The lead was back to square one when Van der Sar palmed a harmless crossed onto Wes Brown and the ball was back in the net. Another communication error, when will they learn??? So Liverpool's players didnt score and its another OWN goal after John 0'Shea "scored" for them few season back!!
United took their foot of the pedal in the 2nd half. No decent atack and passing, play worst then school boys. Liverpool's confident grew, Mascherano battled his way down the right and to the line, beat Ryan Giggs and crossed for the unmarked Babel to slam home.
A confident win for the Merseyside.
Liverpool 2 - 1 Manchester United (1 - 1) *3.80

Latest news
LIVERPOOL stars Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard have been given the green light to take on arch rivals Manchester United. Both missed their respective country World Cup qualifiers games earlier this week and are named in the Liverpool squad.
Cristiano Ronaldo is back and likely to be on the bench.
But how really fit are they? Can ex Spurs strikers Robbie Keane and Berbatov score?
Yawn....

BPL news, 12th Sept
West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola insisted his lack of managerial experience would not hamper him in his new job when he was unveiled at Upton Park on Thursday.
The 42-year-old Italian has not managed a club side before and has still to obtain the Uefa Pro Licence.
West Ham have agreed with the Premier League that Zola, who already has Uefa's B licence, can work as a manager as long as he gains the Uefa Pro Licence by 2010.
There have been reports that Zola wants Chelsea assistant Steve Clarke, who coached him at Stamford Bridge, to be his number two at Upton Park.
Zola, who is West Ham's fifth manager in seven years and their first foreign boss, was an instinctive and lavishly gifted forward.
He promised to also have an attacking philosophy now he is a manager.
"My philosophy is to play offensive football if I can," he said. "I have always done that, because I trust it.
The Italian paid tribute to his predecessor. "I believe Curbishley has done a great job here and I respect him very much," he said.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes football is in danger of becoming destabilised by the amount of outside investment coming into the game.
Wenger said: "What is worrying for me is that a player signs somewhere and then the next day he does not even know where he has signed. You cannot say that is a good trend.
"Football is not a supermarket, we have to all understand that."
Blackburn have agreed to sign Robbie Fowler on a three-month pay-as-you-play deal, with the striker in line to face Arsenal at Ewood Park this weekend.
The former Liverpool frontman, 33, has been training with Rovers since Paul Ince took over as manager in June.
Manager Paul Ince said last month that he hoped a deal could be done with the former England international.
"I've always said he needs to get his fitness and sharpness and now we are seeing signs of that," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"He's a world-class striker. If he can get himself fit he'll always score goals at any level."
Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher admits Manchester United have been better than the Reds in recent derbies ahead of their home clash on Saturday.
The Reds have not beaten United in the Premier League since 2004.
Carragher, 30, told BBC Radio Merseyside: "I'm not a great believer in being lucky or unlucky. I'm a big believer in 'you get what you deserve'.
"United over the last few years have probably edged it with us and small details in football make a difference."
TAK GIU BERN's thought:
Hopefully they can get the three points and that will give them a bit of confidence for the season ahead.

Super SATURDAY
Didnt follow TNP's pick, so its back to own's prediction.
Its only 3 games old (2 for MU) and we have the clashes of old rivals between Liverpool and Manchester United. Its a game come too early, but who cares? Its the advantage that counts. Manchester United will have tough away league games, visiting Liverpool and Chelsea with a Champions league tie with Villarreal in between.
The Red Devils had done the double by beating Liverpool home and away for the past 2 season and Anfield had been a favourite hunting ground.
Dimitar Berbatov will make his debut and will don the no. 9 jersey. Spainish striker, Fernando Torres has made good progress from a hamstring tear sustained against Aston Villa on August 31 and is more likely to feature than Steven Gerrard, who will likely to feature against Marseille.

Walcott stunner slienced Zagreb
Croatia needs only four minutes to test David James in the England goal. After a decent spell of possession, Pranjic tried his luck from range but the Portsmouth goalkeeper saved comfortably after a slight fumble.
However, Croatia grew into the game quickly and caused England early problems. Luka Modric was being given far too much space in midfield and the visitors looked vulnerable whenever anyone ran directly at the defence.
Yet despite the home side’s brighter start, it was the visitors who took the lead. Rio Ferdinand brought the ball out of defence and found Rooney who attempted to play in Joe Cole.Rooney’s attempted through ball instead fell to Pranjic, whose rushed clearance hit Kovac and the ball rebounded to Walcott in the area. The Arsenal teenager, full of composure, struck a fine finish, slipping the ball past the goalkeeper and into the bottom left hand corner to hand Capello’s side the lead.
Within minutes of the second-half matters got even worse for the home side. An aerial challenge between Joe Cole and Robert Kovac left the Chelsea midfielder with a bloodied head and the Croatian with a red card, the referee adjudging Kovac to have led with his elbow.
Less than ten minutes later and the visitors inflicted even more damage on the home side. Heskey laid the ball off to Rooney on the edge of the area and the Manchester United man slipped a cute ball through to Walcott inside the area.
The Arsenal youngster, in an identical position to his first goal, found another superb finish, firing the ball across the goalkeeper and low into the bottom corner to double England’s lead.
Minutes later and England’s joy was unconfined. Ashley Cole and Jermaine Jenas combined well on the left and the Tottenham midfielder’s cross found Rooney in the centre of the area, who finished confidently to give the visitors a three goal cushion and finish the match as a contest.
Yet Croatia did manage to pull one goal back. A high challenge on Terry on the half way line was waved away by the referee allowing Srna to run free and cross the ball to Mandzukic who eased the ball past James to grab a consolation for the home side.
It was to prove a mere consolation though and almost immediately afterwards Walcott had his hat trick. A superb through ball from Rooney again found Walcott running through on the flank and an exquisite finish gave the Arsenal man his third goal and the perfect way to top off an excellent evening for Capello’s men.
simply stunning!!!

FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 QUALIFIER: CROATIA vs ENGLAND
TEAM NEWS
Croatia
Portsmouth winger Niko Kranjcar has undergone surgery following the rupturing of his ankle ligaments while on international duty against Slovenia.
Eduardo Da Silva is still recovering from his horrific leg-break.
Mladen Petric, recently signed by Hamburg, managed a goal coming off the bench against Kazakhstan, and could be set to start.
Two names who wont be though are Igor Budan and Mario Galinovic.
England
Steven Gerrard has ruled out of both international games: Andorra and Croatia, after undergoing a double groin operation.
Rio Ferdinand is back to full fitness following a problematic back complaint.
Joe Cole, fresh from his bench role on Saturday and scorer of both England goals will displace Stewart Downing.
Theo Walcott likely be used as a super-substitute while David Beckham's experience will be seen as pivotal in the opening stages of the game.

Joe Cole double wins for Three Lions
Manager Fabio Capello surprised many people with his starting lineup before the game. Out went David Beckham, Wes Brown and Joe Cole and in came Glen Johnson, Theo Walcott and Stewart Downing with Joleon Lescott taking the injured Rio Ferdinand’s place at the back.
Capello replaced Downing and Defoe with Joe Cole and Emile Heskey and within three minutes Cole had volleyed
While Capello will point to a victory and three points comfortably gained, the trip to Zagreb on Wednesday will provide a far sterner challenge and England will need to improve considerably if they are to return home with any kind of result.

FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 QUALIFIER: ANDORRA vs ENGLAND
TEAM NEWS
Andorra
Andorra lost their opening World Cup qualifying game against Kazakhstan three-nil. The eleven that started that game left the pitch unscathed, and manager David Rodrigo will likely field the same line-up.
England
Michael Owen has been omitted from Fabio Capello's first competitive squad. The man who may capitalise on Owen's absence is Jermain Defoe who will be given the responsiblity/burden of heading England's forward line. Steven Gerrard has been ruled due to Liverpool deeming the international break as the perfect chance to operate on their captain's troublesome groin. In a surprising move Jimmy Bullard, 29, has been called up to the international fold for the first time in his career. Rio Ferdinand has been ruled out due to injury.
TAK GIU BERN's predict: 0-2

Surprise Suprise
Manchester City
Final day of the transfer market, big names in, others out. The biggest shocker came from Manchester, not the red side but the blue one. Troubled owner Thaksin Shinawatra sold the club to Abu Dhabi United Group for Development and Investment for £200m. Next they they tried to hijack Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov from rival Manchester United with a £30million British record. They also attempted to get Valencia’s David Villa and Stuttgart’s Mario Gomez.
Knowing that none of the 3 targets were heading to the Eastlands, they contacted Real Madrid and put forward a British record £32.5m bid for Robinho, a longtime target for Chelsea. Now the same Robinho who will now be pulling on the famous sky blue shirt with Manchester City and not Chelsea..
Best of all, Manchester City vs Chelsea on 13 September!!
Manchester United
Manchester United had finally captured Dimitar Berbatov for £30.75 million, with Fraizer Campbell going to Spurs for a season loan. As part of the settlement the Club has agreed not to pursue its official complaint to the Premier League.
Its comfirmed, star striker Fernando Torres WILL NOT be available when Manchester United visit Anfield. Steven Gerrard is also doubtful.
Louis Saha has finally left Manchester United for Everton for a 2 year contract.
Tottenham Hotspur
Big spender Tottenham Hotspur had also signed Roman Pavlyuchenko from Spartak Moscow and Vedran Corluka Manchester City.
Liverpool
Liverpool had signed another Spanish player, Albert Riera from Espanyol and Steve Finnan moving the other way. Striker Voronin has joined German side Hertha Berlin on a one-year loan.

BPL latest.
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is set to miss four matches, including the first two World Cup qualifiers, because he needs a groin operation.
Gerrard played through the pain barrier on Wednesday to help Liverpool into the Champions League group stage.
England travel to Barcelona to play Andorra on Saturday 6 September and face Croatia away four days later. in the Premier League he is set to miss the matches involving Aston Villa on Sunday and Manchester United on 13 September.James Milner's representatives have hit back at Newcastle after they revealed he has handed in a transfer request.
The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with Aston Villa and informed Newcastle of his desire to leave last Wednesday.
"The club is very disappointed that James sees his footballing future as being away from St James' Park. He is a valued member of the squad and it is only a year ago that he signed an improved long-term contract here."
Newspaper reports claimed on Wednesday that Villa boss Martin O'Neill was preparing a £9m offer for Milner, who joined the Magpies from Leeds in 2004.
Although the transfer request was handed in seven days ago James has been professional in keeping the matter private whilst giving strong performances for Newcastle United.
Manchester City have completed the signing of their former winger Shaun Wright-Phillips from Chelsea.
England's Wright-Phillips, 26, has signed a four-year contract at the City of Manchester Stadium having rejoined for an undisclosed fee.
He told the club's website: "Obviously I'm delighted to come back to City and I can't wait to get started again."
Wright-Phillips left City to join Chelsea for £21m in July 2005, but struggled to hold down a regular place in his three years in London.
He made only 43 Premier League starts, scoring four times, as he fell out of England reckoning too.
Champions League holders Manchester United were drawn with Scottish champions Celtic in the group stages of this year's competition.
The British pair will also face Spaniards Villarreal and Danish side Aalborg in Group E.
Chelsea were drawn with Roma, Bordeaux and Romanian minnows CFR Cluj, while Liverpool will meet PSV, Marseille and Atletico Madrid in a tough group.
Arsenal will play Porto, Fenerbahce and Dynamo Kiev in Group G.
The four English sides were guaranteed to be kept apart after being made top seeds, but Celtic could have faced any one of them after being drawn in the third pot of clubs.
They will get their chance to test themselves against the English champions in two mouth-watering clashes.
Dimitar Berbatov's hopes of a move to Manchester United look to be fading after Sir Alex Ferguson said he was "less optimistic" about new signings.
The United boss, who had a £20.5m bid for the striker rejected, was uncertain whether he would boost his squad before the transfer window shuts on Monday.
"I'm less optimistic so we'll carry on," Ferguson said.
"I've no idea what's going on. It's very hard to get communication with some people in life."
Berbatov has made no secret of his desire to leave White Hart Lane but Tottenham are determined that their £30m price-tag will be met.
United are unlikely to be pushed into paying over the odds and Ferguson may be prepared to miss out on Berbatov.
Berbatov's Dimitar Berbatov's agent Emil Danchev is believed to be in London to hold crisis talks with Tottenham.
It is understood that Danchev hopes to meet boss Juande Ramos and chairman Daniel Levy in a bid to thrash out the striker's future.

EPL 2008/2009
Finally after about 2 months of waiting, the most popular game in sports kickoff its new season tonight. In between, there's European Championship and Olympics Beijing and not forgetting the Ronaldo transfer saga.
Oh forgot to mention that I went for an interview at Football Weekly, a football magazine. I did pretty well in Q&A segment and 2 short summaries on Arsenal vs Chelsea and Man Utd vs Liverpool. But not so good in "WRITING" out in Chinese. Yes, writing out, who the hell will write nowadays?? All uses software to type out those characters right!!!
Anyway, this place is still my favourite playground, no MDA to kachiao!! (better not)
