UEFA Champions League's draw

UEFA Champions League holders Manchester United FC will begin their trophy defence in Group E facing Villarreal, Celtic FC and Denmark's AalborgAalborg BK. Last season runners-up, Chelsea FC will pit against AS Roma (host city of final), Bordeaux and Romanian newcomers CFR 1907 Cluj in Group A.

Five-time champion Liverpool was group with PSV Eindhoven, Atletico Madrid and Olympique Marseille. Fernando Torres will face his old club for the first time. Arsenal will make long journeys to Turkey and Ukraine as they face Fenerbahçe SK, FC Dynamo Kyiv and FC Porto.
