City boss Mark Hughes made his sixth summer by signing Toure from Arsenal. The former Arsenal centre-back cost the blue £14million.

Michael Owen has agreed terms to join Utd. He completed a series of stringent medical tests and had agreed a deal worth £50,000 a week plus huge bonuses depending on goals and appearances.
