2007/2008 Barclays Premier League Champion

Alex Ferguson was delighted at winning his 10th league title.

We are the champions, my friends
And well keep on fighting, till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
cause we are the champions, of the world

Nerermind they sung out of tune cos they are not singers, but professional footballers. Manchester United clinched their 10th Premier League title at the JJB stadium when they beat Wigan 2 nil. Tensions were high from the 1st min from kickoff as they knew they must score in case Chelsea score.

Cristiano Ronaldo make no mistake from the spot in the 33rd min when Rooney was brought down in the box by Emmerson Boyce. The goal equal Alan Shearer's Premier League of 31 goals. Scholes was lucky not to be red carded by referee Steve Bennett when he body checked into Wilson Palacios and with a yellow card with him earlier.

The deadlock was finally broken for Chelsea when the 30 mil flop Shevchenko tapped the ball into Boltan's net after Lampard's shot was blocked in the 62th min. Roman was a happy man, thou his eyes can't be seen cos he's wearing shades, his white teeth shows it all.

From there, it was a long 28 min for Sir Alex. Wigan kept attacking and old boy Steve Bruce never gave chance. He sub Antoine Sibierski (forward) for Marcus Bent (forward) and Marlon King (forward) for Michael Brown (midfielder). Sir Alex Ferguson not wanting to be outdone, he brought on Hargreaves for Scholes and Giggs for Park.

Giggs, making his 758th United appearance equalled Sir Bobby Charlton's record, scored when he slotted Rooney's through ball.

Kevin Davies's 92nd min strike added woes to Chelsea's camp as the boys from London also lost John Terry with shoulder injury.

Full result. Only kenna Boro.. Can't imaging 9 goals & AOS is how much for tat game.. Fulham stayed up as I predicted thou Reading and Birmingham City won 4 nil & 4 - 1 respectively. Liverpool's reject Danny Murphy's header was enough to let Fulham to continue in the top flight.

Derby 0 - 4 Reading (0 - 1)
Everton 3 - 1 Newcastle United (1 - 0)
Wigan 0 - 2 Manchester United (0 - 1)
Middlesbrough 8 - 1 Manchester City (2 - 0) *(3.50 + 3.30)
Tottenham Hotspur 0 - 2 Liverpool (0 - 0)
Portsmouth 0 - 1 Fulham (0 - 0)
Chelsea FC 1 - 1 Bolton Wanderers (0 - 0)
Birmingham City 4 - 1 Blackburn Rovers (1 - 0)
West Ham 2 - 2 Aston Villa (1 - 1)

To Man Utd: You're simply the best, better than all the rest.
