i wasn't interested who will win bcos my beloved Liverpool is not in e final (sad to say...)

Pete aka soccersiao got right on his prediction, a draw and 2 goals after normal-time. me too, got it right again.. when i predicted a draw after 90mins on postman.com... when 2 teams are able to get into e final, whether its a scrappy affair or jus cushion thru.. in a final... there's no favourites or underdogs... both equally have e chance to win it.

and last night it was Man United who savour the sweetness of winning their 3rd European trophy after success in 1968 and that unforgettable 1998-99 treble season.

a draw was though a fair result. i thot a 0-0 draw after e 1st-half was enough for me to win a 2-hour stay in hotel 81 for some edgy affair... but knn, score so fast... PFA player of e year Ronaldo got onto e scoresheet first before Lampard levelled wif jus seconds to e end of e first period.

2nd-half til end of extra-time nothin comes thru and e game was to be settled on penalties. United prevail 6-5 on penalties after United keeper Van de Sar saved from Nicolas Anelka.

hate to say but congrats to United victory over Chelsea....
